Quick update

Yesterday was a crazy day! It all started out at the hospital and ended at the temple.

I went to have an ultrasound yesterday morning to check my fluid levels. At my ultrasound on Wednesday, my fluid was at 9.8, which is still in the normal range. They were a little concerned that it had dropped so much in the week since my last ultrasound, so they had me come in yesterday. The normal range is 7.9 - 24.5 or something like that. My fluid yesterday was 7.3. It isn't at the point yet where they feel like they need to get Maddie out immediately, but it is definitely going down. My blood pressure is a little out of control again too, so that caused some concern. They sent me over to the hospital for observation and some labs. I thought it was going to be an overnight visit, but when I got there my blood pressure was fine and my labs were perfect so they sent me home. I have another ultrasound and doctor's appointment on Tuesday so we will know more than. Wouldn't it be crazy if we have a baby next week?!?! The doctors keep reassuring us that everything is fine with Madison right now and they are just being cautious. They also said that because I'm already at 36 weeks and because she is a girl, that there is really no cause for concern if she comes now. She just won't make the 9 lb mark...sorry Alli.

Yesterday was also the day that Troy had decided to go to the temple for the first time. For some reason that day just seemed important to him, we found out later that it was the day his parents met. How cute is that? With all the drama at the hospital that morning and not knowing if we would be there all night, he called around to the few people that he would allow to go with him to the temple and cancelled. But then when we got released so early and the doctor said it was fine to go, we decided not to put it off. It was a great experience to be in the temple with my husband. We have been looking forward to that for a long time. We are supposed to be sealed on Wednesday...lets see if Madison holds off. I'm starting to think that she wants to be there with us when we are sealed together as an eternal family.

Some Nursery Pics!

Lucy fixed the crib skirt last night! I was so excited to get everything all put together.

We still have major organizing to do in that room, but at least its starting to look like a nursery. I still have to get Troy to hang the curtain rod so I can put the valance up. It will probably happen before Maddie turns three. :) I really want to get a bumper for the crib. I found a really cute one at Babies-R-Us at will match perfectly. I may have to run up there tonight and pick it up....ha!

Amy had her sister-in-law make letters to spell out Madison that match our bedding. I'm so excited to see how they turned out. I got the package in the mail yesterday, but I promised Amy that I wouldn't open it until my shower on Saturday. Its killing me! Her sister-in-law makes the cutest stuff. You should check out her blog...http://www.mrsfarmersmarket.com/

It's been awhile...

My only excuse for not posting anything for awhile (and its a really good one) is that it is tax season. For any of you that don't know, I manage my mom's tax office. So between the middle of January to the middle of April, my life is no longer my own.

I don't have anything really new to report about Madison. She is growing really well...the doctors are saying that she is going to be over 9 lbs! I know! I have another ultrasound next week so we will see what they say then. My fibroid, which Emilee named Vincent, has moved. Which is really great news because my doctor was worried that she was going to have to do a C-section if it didn't move. My blood pressure has been fine. I'm on a really low dose of Atenonol...I think that is how you spell it. It was checked last week and it was 116/70 which is really great, so that means the drugs are doing their job.

I'm hoping to get the nursery finished in the next couple of weeks so I'll post some pictures then.
