Portland 2010
We headed down to Portland last weekend for Troy's cousin Ande's baby shower. Oh what fun we had! I have a ton of photos in this blog so I will keep this short and sweet. We LOVE hanging out with Troy's cousins, aunts, and uncle. They are the Linn side (Troy's dad's side) and boy are they all a hoot. We laughed a lot, spent some money, ate great food, and talked non-stop. Perfect weekend in my opinion. My only regrets are that I didn't get more pictures of the family members, I didn't take a "cousins" picture, and I didn't have my camera at the baby shower (you know the whole reason we were there!!!). But as Nick says, Oh well.
One of my favorite parts of getting together with Greg's (Troy's dad) siblings, is to hear the stories they will tell about him. I feel like I get to know him a little bit more every time we spend time together. And I know Troy feels the same way. His memories of him are very childlike because he passed away when he was so young. It's cool to hear things about your dad when you are an adult. I know I like it.
Love it!
It was such a gorgeous day.

My little poser!

She would not sit in her stroller. I know I should strap her in, but what can I say...I'm a pushover!

She loved her ride through the fountain with Dad. She was squealing and clapping like crazy!

Maddie flying girl!

Our handsome pup!
Madison loved Amy!
We went to the Alberta Street Art/Street fair. Robin, Vickie, Jeramie, and I had a great time browsing. Greg and Woody cut out early and Troy and Rian found a great spot to sit and wait for us to be done. hahaha! I guess us girls have a different idea of a good time than the guys do?? hahaha!
Kaiser was being very cooperative with the camera that day.
Miss Kaiden! She is such a sweetheart!!! Still not to sure of Mad and her aggressiveness...she tends to smother. haha! But I just know they will be best friends one day.

She is such a good car seat sleeper!
We finally got Troy's brother Greg to Voodoo. He was in heaven!

Zipper Headbands
I LOVE ZIPPER HEADBANDS! They are a new obsession of mine. Troy bought me one on our Utah trip. It cost $12.00!!! I just had to have it though. I justified it by telling him that I wanted to use it as a model to make them myself. And he bought it! hahaha! So I've taken my time figuring them out, but I finally did. Check out my creation...
Poor Kaiser! hahaha!
Meeting Natalie
My friend Hollie had a baby at the end of March and we finally got to meet her last week! She is ADORABLE!!!!! I could not get enough of that teeny tiny baby. She is the sweetest thing! And Madison just wanted to be next to her. Especially when Troy was holding Natalie. Mad didn't like that too much. hahaha!

April 24th is a BIG day around here...
My Grandma Doherty and Uncle Darren share a birthday on April 24th. It was also Madison's due date. Can you imagine if we had ended up with three birthdays that day? Oh goodness. I'm sooo glad she decided to come early. ha! I of course had to bust out the new camera that night. Got some pretty cute pictures.
