Favorite Things Swap!!!!

This last month I have gotten to participate in the best swap ever!!! My friend Darci decided to spice up her blog by offering to organize a Favorite Things swap. After we had all signed up, Darci picked names and let us know who would be getting our favorite things. The deadline was this last weekend. I was lucky enough to get Darci's favorite things! I took some pictures so you could check out when she put together.

I sent my favorite things package to Darci's sister Alison. I'm hoping to put a link up to her blog after she posts about it so you can see what I sent her. I should have taken pictures myself, but typical me, I spaced it.

Maddie and Mia

My friend Alli brought her cute little girl Mia down to Monroe for a park date with Madison. The girls had a great time playing on the swings. Mia loved running around and having her mom chase her. haha! Poor Al. She's due with baby #2 in June. Mad loved the slide and playing the grass. Two growing girls and a pregnant lady equals starvation. We ended up going to Red Robin. It was really fun to hang out with Alli and catch up. I loved meeting her sweet Mia. The girls were really sweet together, but would not cooperate when we tried to take pictures of them together. haha! Stinkers!

My First Birthday

When she woke up on her birthday, we went in singing happy birthday. This was the funniest expression to me! She was looking at Troy like what the heck are you doing, dad!

She quickly perked up as soon as Kaiser came into the room.

Not sure what is up with the tongue thing, but it was the best shot I could get.

We went to Ixtapa that night for her birthday dinner. Man did she want that cake.

Mad's favorite place to hang out. She is always checking out the neighborhood from here. Usually it's Mad and Kaiser. This time it was Mad and Jacob.

Tulip Festival 2010

Troy and I decided to take advantage of the amazing weather we had last weekend and head up to the Tulip Festival. Really I think we just wanted to use our new camera. We got some great shots of Mad and Kaiser. It was a beautiful day and we loved spending it as a family.
