licking

Madison has started pretending that she is a puppy. She licks me ALL THE TIME! I knew I had to draw the line when the other night we were out to dinner with my parents, Nick, and Veronica and she went up to my dad and licked his bum. Luckily he didn't even notice because he was so engrossed in his conversation with Veronica. Needless to say we have been having lots of talks about licking people.

I just read a blog post talking about blog guilt. I definitely suffer from it. Big time. I want to capture it all and when I get behind I get overwhelmed by the amount of things to write about! Well I'm going to try to do better and document the 'little things', the day to day.

My Grandma Doherty is sick. We found out two weeks ago that she has cancer. We still don't know how bad yet, but we know it's bad. She has a tumor the size of an apple at the base of her spine and SEVERAL tumors in her liver. We are still waiting on the results of her biopsy. I hate waiting. I hate not knowing what we are up against.

I found out tonight that my Grandma Gremmert is having some heart issues. I mean seriously! Both at the same time. It doesn't seem fair. At all. We know nothing about what is going on with her. We should have more answers at the end of the week. More not knowing.

Tax season has started. Wowza! That's all.

Madi, Eva, and I are going to KY on Friday. Madi is so excited to go see DD. It's all she can talk about. She has outfits picked out. It is going to be a much needed break for all of us. I think Mom is about to be crushed from all the stress she is under. She needs to be surrounded by her grandkids.

Troy is amazing. Really amazing.

Madi is a dress wearing girl. I have to fight to get her in jeans. She is such a girly girl that loves farting and talking about poop. What can I say? She is a Gremmert/Linn. Sorry. Madi is obsessed with getting another dog. She wants a little one that she can carry around like a baby. Troy is very anti little dogs. She also is in love with Martha. For those of you that don't know Martha you are missing out. She is the cornerstone of our family. Madison is really trying to get this potty training thing down. We have had some success this week because her pull-ups now have Rapunzel on them. She doesn't want to pee on Rapunzel. hahaha! She has no issue pooping on her though. hahaha!

The Linn Family Reunion 2011

In July we went to a little piece of heaven outside of Sandpoint. It was right on the river with a little inlet with a sandy beach. Kaiser swam the whole time. The day we left he slept the whole drive to Bozeman! haha! Anyway Troy's cousin Dani found this great house to rent. It was HUGE!! There were 34 or 35 of us, but you would never have known there were that many people there. We had so much fun catching up with all the cousins. It was really cute to see Madi and Kaiden's relationship blossom. Madison is completely in love with all her Linn cousins. She still talks about them almost everyday. I can't wait for the next reunion!!

Someone asked who wanted to go on the boat...Mad didn't even take the time to change out of her pj's. She was pretty ticked that Dad made her wear sunscreen.

We had to work while we were at the reunion because we took the next week off to explore Montana and Yellowstone. Let's put it this way. That is not happening again. We missed out on all the fun daytime stuff. It all worked out and we had a great time, but next time we are leaving the computers at home.

Silverwood

Montana, Yellowstone, and Jackson Hole

We planned this trip for over a year. We built out Troy's utility trailer. We bought a lugable loo. Basically we were so EXCITED!!! It was an amazing trip. We camped all over Bozeman, Big Sky, West Yellowstone, and stayed in a hotel one night in Jackson Hole. We are already planning our trip for next summer. Maybe California coast..?!

Kaiser at Lisa's

We have the best dog boarder of all time!! Lisa is amazing with Kaiser. He has so much fun there. She takes him swimming, lets him follow her around, and not only bathes him, but blow dries him!! He is one lucky pup! These are some pictures that Lisa has taken of Kaiser on his vacations at her house.

5- Number of double cousins that I have. And they are all boys! I’m surrounded. (Mom+Dad and Mom’s sister+Dad’s brother = double cousins get it?)

6- Number of times I have been to Hawaii. I would like that to be a higher number.

7- Number of hours of sleep I get a night. I would like that to be a higher number as well.

8- Number of books on my nightstand waiting to be read.

10- Number of diet cokes I have in a week…give or take…I’m addicted.
